V.F.W. Post 7305 monitors official Presidential and Governor of Colorado proclamations to maintain strict adherence to Title 4, United States Code (The Flag Code) at our Lake Beckwith post grounds and across the Greenhorn Valley.
Community Flag Drop-Off at Post 7305
Have an unserviceable or worn American flag in Colorado City, Rye, or Pueblo County? Bring it to V.F.W. Post 7305 meetings or coordinate with our officers. We conduct regular dignified retirement ceremonies in full accordance with V.F.W. National ritual.

Assists the Commander in post leadership and events, manages membership intake & retention campaigns, and oversees technology & web infrastructure.

Junior Vice Commander
Focuses on member comradeship, veteran assistance programs, and supporting post activities across the Greenhorn Valley.
Mike Sugar
Post Quartermaster
Serves as financial custodian, managing dues ledgers, post assets, compliance reporting, and audit trail precision.
Don Shumake
Post Chaplain
Provides spiritual guidance, comfort to sick or distressed comrades and families, and conducts post ceremonial invocations.

Monthly Post 7305 Business Meeting (Cancelled to Support Luncheon)
Please note: The September 19 coffee and meeting are cancelled so Post 7305 can attend and support the Greenhorn Valley Welcome Home Gathering Luncheon at Rye Elementary School (a community-organized effort supporting the return to home lunch after the Aspen Acres Fire; not hosted by the Post). Regular monthly meetings resume in October.
